Maria Daniela hails from the village of Qrendi. She had commenced her music education at the age of six. She obtained a Diploma in Sacred Music (University of Malta), as well as LLCM and DipABRSM. She had also pursued her studies in music theory, piano and harp at the Johann Strauss School of Music. She conducted research about upper limb discomforts in piano-players as well as about the personal meaning of music-making. Throughout her musical career, she engaged in various musical activities such as accompaniment, teaching, performing as well as leading the Parish choir and singing in other choirs. She pursued post-graduate education in both Occupational Therapy and Bioethics and works as an Occupational Therapist in local mental health services. Maria Daniela currently teaches piano and theory at the Johann Strauss School of Music.
